behind the wheel
Wheelhouse was founded by Emilie and Marie in 2026, two Amsterdam-based ceramicists who wanted to build a studio shaped by the people in it.
We create a space where makers like us can come to work, learn, and grow as a community and as individual artists. A creative home built around a love of our craft, where the community has a real say in how we grow and develop.
Wheelhouse is a non-profit association and a reinvestment-driven collective. That means surplus revenu flows back into the studio, and every member has a voice in where we go next.
