Intro to the wheel

Join us for a 2.5-hour introduction to learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing. We will walk you through preparing the clay, centering it on the wheel, and shaping your first cups or bowls. You’ll have time to create 2-3 pieces, and take them home a few weeks after the workshop.

HAndbuilding with clay

Let your creativity run wild in this 2.5-hour introduction to handbuilding: this technique gives you ultimate creative freedom and is wonderfully social. We’ll guide you through different building methods so you can create whatever you desire: a mug, plate, small vase, or a decorative piece. Of course, you’ll get to take home your very own beautifully handmade creation!

wheel throwing classes

Our 5-week throwing course teaches you all about creating your pieces from start to finish. We cover every step of the ceramic process, giving you dedicated time to learn and hone your skills. Buy the end of the course, you’ll bring home your own unique collection of handmade pieces.

Continuous Classes

Our Tuesday evening classes (handbuilding) are the perfect space to learn, make and mingle. Open to all levels, each class gives you space to work on your ongoing projects, learn handbuilding techniques, and connect with the people. It’s a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the world of clay, with the opportunity to transition into studio membership.
